At the crossroads of Provence and Italy, between the Italian Alps and the Serre Chevalier valley …

The region’s main asset is its climate: influenced both by the Mediterranean and the mountains. The Mediterranean influence gives the region “a clear blue sky and exceptional number of hours of sunshine”.
Discover the natural heritage and the cultural richness of the Serre Chevalier villages.

  • Enjoy a free visit to the Saint Marcellin church where you will find treasures, or to the Saint-Barthelemy chapel, as well as a visit to the village of Bez or you can seek out some of our famous sundials.
  • The Museum "This was my village" is located in the Sainte Luce chapel, in the heart of Villeneuve. The children can participate in workshops about the local Heritage on Thursday at 2:00 pm. Tel. 04 92 25 54 00.
  • Museum of «  Sacred-Heart  ». This is located in the Saint Pierre Chapel, an ancient chapel for the Penitents which offers a large collection of religious pieces.

Open from 4th June 2005 to 25th September. Everyday from 10:00 am to 6:00pm.
  • Spinning in Chantemerle: restored remains from a very flourishing 19 th century industrial past.
